Only the best cheese is good enough at Uniekaas. These cheeses even win prizes. Our Uniekaas 30+ recently won the Gouda Cheese Award.
Gouda Cheese Awards is an important and special cheese competition in the Netherlands. It is not a technical cheese inspection, but a neutral taste test: consumers taste and judge. All entries were tasted at the beginning of September by consumer panels from market research agency Essensor in Wageningen. The result is therefore based on a completely objective taste test: consumers taste and assess – the taste determines. The best six cheeses – three per category – advanced to the final. The Uniekaas 30+ came out on top in the test!
To ensure that our cheeses remain the best, we also participate in various cheese competitions every year. Where our cheese makers often win prizes. This way we keep ourselves sharp to be able to make that Unique cheese again and again.
